WHO DA DUCK DELETED WEEK FIVE?
...onto week 6.

Week Six in the Subsim Fantasy Football League, and we arrive to find that our week five post has vanished faster than Popeye in the iron Wolves game.

Who's messing around with our stuff?

The week 5 MVT was Josh Allen of the Australian Taipans, but that's old news. This week we have a new MVT from four games that were just as exciting as watching Thursday night football.

While the support team go back and try to find the missing post, we'll go forward and report on the doldrums of this weeks games.

DONATE TO SUBSIM...AND NOMINATE SUBSIM FANTASY FOOTBALL FOR BEST OF SUBSIM...AND FIND OUR WEEK FIVE POST.

If our post was still here, you would have read had the Australian Taipans handled the biggest blow out of the week and won the MVT. But with the post missing we'll just skip over that and get back to our regularly scheduled ass whipping that the Guns of Hochuli handed out this week - to the Taipans. the Gunners have been the perennial bogey team for the Taipans and this week Coach Casey did it again with Stefan Diggs (WR) outperforming the Taipans Josh Allen (QB). Not helped by single digit scores, this game was well and truly over early Sunday morning. If they find the post from last week you'd be reading of a Taipan win, this week you're reading of the second divisional win that the Gunners achieved over the Taipans. Gunner demolish the Taipans 155 - 108.

Our scheduled match of the day, which was advertised last week, was the Drunk Monkeys hosting the Brigade. The Monkeys have one of the strongest teams in the league as Coach halo once again does a fourteen week vacation during the middle of the season. Last year we had the Monkeys go all the way to the playoffs as a ghost machine, imagine what they could do if they just showed up. The brigade are following suite leaving two players on the starting team who were out west vacationing. The Drunk Monkeys advance to 4-2 with a convincing win over the Banter Brigade, 120-114.

Our championship coach. Mister Chris, has been languishing near the bottom of the table with not a lot of win. In what has historically been the harder of the two divisions to win, the Helmand Nighthawks have been gifted an easy schedule but not able to exert their dominance on the opposition. Well, that ended this week as the Nighthawks flew and extinguished the Boss team. Even with Cordell Sutton scoring single digit points, the Nighthawks were able to easily pummel the Brigade135 - 82.

Our final match of the week was back in the Carolina's where the Black Cats were hosting the Who Dat Nation. Who told the Cats that it was a long weekend with no game scheduled? They showed up with four (4) players not scheduled, and the Nation just walked right over the top of them. Nothing to talk about it, but the Who Dat nation stomp the Black Cats 145 - 62.

The blow outs shook up our league ladder just a bit. At 4-2, the Guns of Hochuli return to the top of the league ladder but they share it with the Drunk Monkeys and the Who Dat Nation. One game back at 3-3 the Banter Brigade and the Helmand Nighthawks get out of the cellar for an equal share of halfway. Behind them at 2-4 are the Bosses, the Black Cats and the Australian Taipans. Two games separate the top and bottom team but as we come up on the halfway point, that gap is started to look ominous for these teams to get back into the Championship.

Each week, (including the week where our post vanished) the Associated Subsim Writers (ASW) will nominated their Most Valuable Torpedo (MVT) of the week, the single player who proved decisive in their teams performance.

For the second time this year, against the same team as the first, we have our first repeat winner. For the effort 10 receptions and 148 yards and a touchdown for a total of 36.80 points, the Week Six MVT goes to Stefan Diggs (WR) of the Guns of Hochuli.
