Oh yes. I try to remember to not do anything beyond 90 degree turns anymore... I've even had those "stick" sometimes with the "Search Pattern" and walk away to grab a sandwich while on 1024, come back 30 seconds later and the boat is 'stuck' like that... It has usually been in rough seas, but not always. I suspect a combination of TC, shelling out, and not holding the rabbit's foot properly...
