When I sail Tambor class on up, it's 12 knots/175 rpm on a standard bell which I’ll carry into the dive at 6 knots. Small boats, 12/175 drives me down at five knots which is acceptable for a long-distance radar contact. The game distances are longer than in real life, so transit at 12 knots.

Edit: On second thought, I don't think the Tambor class can descend at 6 knots/175 rpm from the surface. Idk, about the Gar class.
