that floor in your picture looks even more modern than the PVC one

After german capitulation, and before being sold back to Germany as museum ship, U-995 was in service from '48 to '71 with the Royal Norwegian Navy, that used it mostly as a school boat.

Can you imagine how many times they had to change her floor, during this period? Establishing what had to be her original flooring from modern pictures is an hopeless excercise, my friend.
