We'll have to agree to disagree. All I know is that many people enjoy being recognized for the work they've done and the things that they've accomplished, even though they may seek no such thing. If you don't agree with that, perhaps it would be best to simply stand aside rather than diminish that recognition merely because you don't believe that they should get it???
