Default Swashbuckler/ The Scarlet Buccaneer

For a long time, before I finally got online, I looked for this terrific movie having seen it once on TV. Thanks to the internet I now know that whereas it was called "The Scarlet Buccaneer" when we saw it on TV (after the book upon which it was based) we should in fact have been looking out for "Swashbuckler", to give it its later title.

Made in 1976 and starring Robert Shaw, it has to be about the best pirate movie I've ever seen, pre "Pirates Of The Caribbean" (filmed aboard a real ship, too: a replica of The Golden Hind). I found a review this morning in which the reviewer shares this opinion.

Anyone else know the film and what do you think of it; it seems to be only available in region 1 format, however.
