The SH4 models strike me as quite sophisticated, which is why the current "sideways" conversions of existing models into playable models is so appealing . They come with all the lovely detail, lighting effects etc.
I think for the moment nobody will be in a rush to attempt an SH3 to SH4 playable conversion ...... but given time and motivation it should be technically possible.
