Default Mod soup issues

Hello. I have a few issues I'd really, really like to resolve. I am a Silent Hunter veteran. Played 3 and 4 almost every year since release. I recently built a new computer and decided to get get these two babies installed. SH4 works fine with the mods that I have, but I am having some problems with SH3. These are my mods in order:

I use German U-Boats Compilation 2 (only VIIB & VIIC models by WISE) early war as it is my understanding it needs to be disabled if I am to upgrade the tower in mid 1942.

This has worked fine early war and I love it. My issue is with the radar and snorkel. The Fumo-29 either does not appear when installed or is hovering above the u-boat. The later, rotating versions do not appear at all. The u-boats also have the storage for the snorkel carved out even if the snorkel is not installed. If it is installed, the storage for the snorkel extends far wider and longer than what it is supposed to and the cover has a different colour to the rest of the deck.

I have read manuals and searched the web and this forum for days. If anyone can help me fix this, I would be VERY happy! Danke schön
