IIB U-24 third patrol July 1940 from Kiel, 14 sailing days.
Took damages by air attack twice...decided to shorten the patrol after this one ship sunk. Those Hurricanes are damn accurate & dangerous.
For first time ever, after bombs exploding quite close, i was around 20m depth and found myself in the dark for few seconds untill the rescue lights came on
