0957:15-0957:30 (TORPEDO ATTACK NO.1) Fired tubes #1, #2, #3, #4.

0957:50 Loud explosions. Torpedoes #2, #3, #4, prematurely detonated.

0958:05 Torpedo impact!

0959 Large hole in target visible above waterline. Escorts closing, ordered 250 ft depth,
rigged for silent running and depth charge.

1002 Depth-250 ft.

1003 Depth charge explosions, not close.

Rough seas and thermal layer at 200 ft are shielding SEAL from escorts.

1300 Surfaced for end around, currently in pursuit of convoy.
