On a sidenote.....This year Opera on Sydney Harbour is doing "Madama Butterfly"......The poor girl is a teenager. She abandons her Culture, Religion, is shunned by her Family, cursed by her Ancestors. And in the end has lost everything - Husband, Child, Family. And commits suicide with her Dad's sword that the Emperor kindly sent to him to do the same.
It's a real tragedy....and this year "Opera on Sydney Harbour" is celebrating it at the end with Fireworks....talk about tasteless.
