i second PB's suggestion for jimi's keyboard mapper, which was originally designed for SH3 and can be usedfor SH4.
there is another keyboard tool, SH4 Keyboard Configurator. you can also use that to get the hang of things. sometimes i just use a text editor such as Notepad or Notepad++.
