Unfortunately there are still issues to solve for the rendered parts of the game, to make it fully enjoyable in 32:9. For example the rendering of the periscope texture. The more you increase the aspect ratio, the more the upper and lower parts of the periscope gets cut off. Still searching how to fix that.
ps: a 32 inch 32:9 display would be very tiny.
My 49" 32:9 monitor has the height of a 28" 16:9 monitor (lenght of 2x 28" 16:9 monitors side by side).
