An enemy Betty raid (16) targeted supply ships at Salajar; we opposed it with 13 P-47s and 3 Corsairs. We shot down 6 of the Betties... on the way out. All 16 attacked a pair of cargo ships and a subchaser escort with bombs... no hits.
