Philippines and surrounding seas
USS Golet torpedoed and cripped a 4875-ton cargo ship off the western coast of Luzon. USS Sargo torpedoed and likely sank another 4875-ton (Aden class) cargo ship in the Luzon Strait. Late in the day, USS Permit found the ship damaged by Golet and finished it off with 2 more torpedoes.


East China Sea
USS Sunfish was spotted by a kaibokan in the straits between Okinawa and Japan and depth charged for light damage.


South China Sea
USS Sawfish scored a torpedo hit on a 9975-ton tanker near Singapore, causing severe damage and heavy fires. Very likely a kill due to the fire.


Japanese Home Waters
USS Bluefish torpedoed and sank a 215-ton PB near Torishima.


Burma and Thailand
Air raids:
Ayuthia (ground forces): 87 casualties
eastern road (ground forces): 93 casualties

In the Java Sea near Semarang, Java, 10 B-25D1s attacked a support convoy including a seaplane tender and an ammunition ship:

SC Ch 5, Bomb hits 2, heavy fires, heavy damage

AV Sanuki Maru, Shell hits 3, Bomb hits 1, on fire

One of the B-25s was shot down by flak.
