Additionally, the dehydration effect of the AC's critically reduced moisture, preventing electrical shortages in the submerged vessel's multitudinous wiring equipment and battery systems. Bottom line though: the US fleet boats must have been luxurious compared to a Nazi Type VII or IX U-boot!
