This became common in all scales when the real tire companies started squawking about copyrights.
In a perfect world, I would have found Continental or Avon lettering decals or dry transfers.
Michelin would have also been great but I can only find the "big" stuff for racing tires. They look great but they are over-blown for this style of car and tire.
