There are definitely gaps, but compared to any over off the shelf simulation I've seen, this is by far the most comprehensive.
I've only had 90 minutes in front of my PC this week to play with Command, and I haven't even yet finished the first tutorial - so my knowledge of the sim is poor. However, given that the sim does not require 3D modelling, I would imagine that it's possible to edit the database yourself if you want to model a particular vehicle. And judging from
this thread on the matrix website it would appear that getting the gaps plugged in the database via future patches will happen quite quickly.
