You were lucky to be with Tim. I went aboard the Pampanito, in SF. There you had no guide, just a little speaker to hold as you toured the boat. Each compartment triggered a different story on your handheld tour guide.
We could not go to the conning tower or bridge -- off limits.
So much better with a personal tour.
