Soon, they will be applying conservative measures to fix this: increased police activity, crack down on drug dealers and criminals, zero tolerance for drugs. Things will improve for a while then the lefties will start whining about incarceration, police heavy-handedness, etc and the cycle will repeat.
I live 20 minutes away across the river in Jersey. Used to go to Philly all the time. Not now. It's not just Kensington - almost all of Philly is dangerous due to a woke mayor, DA, and city council. Vastly different from the days when Mayor Rizzo had the police throw MOVE terrorists off of rooftops after they killed a cop.

I would argue it's even more dangerous than Camden (where I work). At least in Camden if you stay south of the Ben, north of the USS New Jersey, and West of I-676, you're relatively safe.
