Hello Captains, I've returned to SH5+WoS after many years. I love you all.
I found that I couldn't get map contacts to work(I'm a lightweight and need lots of help hitting anything with a torpedo). Overall, I was really having a hard time getting my Game Options to take effect.
I struggled for many hours and then saw a hint:
Change Game Options while you're in the Bunker and they will take effect and remain. It worked for me!
I hope this helps anyone having the same issues. And a big thank you to this community. All the love for this game has returned for me now. It is really a fantastic experience. Happy Hunting, Captains!
