Great find! There really is something special about movie miniatures. Not only are they great works of craftmanship and ingenuity (check sometime how some of the spaceships in the original ALIEN were made for example*), but they also withstand the test of time way better than CGI in most cases.

*Here's an awesome documentary series of ALIEN on Dennis Lowe's site, much of it is about props and effects.
