Yeah, I remember I hated messing with that file, and my best advice is to make a backup before you even think of opening it up. And if you ever add a mod that overwrites the file, you'll lose whatever changes you made, so make a backup of your edited version, as well.
I seem to recall some talk about someone making an editor/merger for that file, but I don't know what ever came of it.
My favorite is to hook the laptop to the 52" TV, grab a wireless headset, and use the voice control mod. There's some perks to living alone, I guess.  |
