Am, guessing here... that you have access to both v1.4 & v1.5 of the Steam copies of SH4...
Yes.???
If that, is the case... or even if just v1.5, alone... then it'd be understandable that you would NOT need v1.4 SH4, in order to install & run SH4 Uboat Missions.
Since, v1.5, is complete... in its own right.
