We've been sweeping Bangkok daily for awhile now with no joy. Today there were 20 Georges on patrol, meeting my 10 P-47s. We shot down 7 of the Georges, then a B-24 raid following that shot down another George. The B-24s caused 6 casualties and scored 15 airbase hits.

There's so much naval activity at Darwin that the base ran out of fuel, and without realizing it my CVBG replenishment group has been servicing all the ships coming through. I'm bringing in another replenishment group from Rabaul while also diverting tanker convoys headed to Sydney.
