After some hunting around I found that Anvart made a AI_Crew Mod with exactly what I was looking for to place on my watch crew. I never paid much attention to the AI crews.

Post # 8 lists a d/l for a video which shows the AI crew in U-Boot-Päckchen clothing.

Not sure if there is a way to have this done for player watch crews.
