after world war II the wrecks of the Java Sea Battle were all classed as war graves and protected by law but today many of these wargrave sites have been striped bare and the rusting hulks cut up and the scrap sold ileagally.
A wargrave should be left alone and respected salvaging scavaging to make a fast buck $$$ outa brave mens blood is disgusting but im also a realist as the sands of time pass the moral compas of nations or the willingness to police these areas with their navies is way down to list of priorities.
