Well .. the steam version 1.2.0 and the latest ubisoft connect launcher and TWoS Full Pack 2.24 (all the latest for 8/25/2021) all work perfectly fine together.
I mean, I get an occasional crash to desktop and have to save fairly often, but I think that is just SH5
