Could be false positive due to the exe maybe containign aggressive advertising, could be the possible aggressive advertising being a bit too aggressive, could be something really malwarish.

No worries. I used it and then uninstalled it afterwards. I'm fairly confident that the developers were not spreading malware, but the adware might have been a bit aggressive. Sorry that you elected not to try it.
