Off the Irish coast, intercepted and sank the "Stella Lykes"' sister ship, the "American Packer", also on loan to the British. Cargo: Mail & Packages.

Cargo cranes looming over a crewman who has jumped overboard.

Further North, the watch crew ID'd a merchant vessel heading West, presumably bound for North America. Modern Long Bridge Deck merchant with no armament. It was sunk with a single torpedo in a submerged attack.

Several days later, we intercepted and sank a two-ship mini-convoy, also off the Irish coast. At first the two-funneled merchant was mistaken for the "Arandora Star", but we quickly realized it was a much smaller ship.
