@Silentrunner, wolfeman advice is good. All i can say is dont give up Vista yet, if you can afford it go out and buy another 2 gigs of ram, though 4gigs is better or if you have vista 64bit stick in 8gigs of ram
And watch vista perform like its meant to. Otherwise 3gigs is minimum.
