...that is the primary definition of: MEGALOMANIAC! It comes from the Greek: mega (great) and mania(madness). Alexander the Great, Ghengis Khan, Napoleon Bonaparte, Adolf Hitler, and presently, Vladimir Putin, who thinks he's a reincarnated Peter the Great, all suffered from this affliction. Their antics caused general misery for humanity.
