Anyway if your were a Rocket builder back in the past Estes Rockets ,Was what a young man had,if he mowed enough yards he could buy a kit.Elmer's glue some sand paper,and maybe some paint,5 or 6 hrs you had your Rocket. We didn't have fancy launch pads, We used mom's wire coat hanger bent straight with dads pliers.A beer can cut in halve was our heat shield. No fancy electronic launch system. We had a green waterproof fuse you stuck up into the ass end of a solid fuel rocket motor. C-6-7, C-6-5, And if you wanted to chase a parachute C-6-3 .It was the best of times.
