The hunt, or more specifically practicing hunts. As you said, it takes a long time to find the location, heading, etc using your preferred method, which you'd then use to plan your intercept and attack.
What i was hoping for was a tool to help players practice this without doing it in realtime, instead allowing for a turn based listen, plot, move (or dont move), repeat (x times), reveal, pattern. With this you could practice the hunt time and time again with quick confirmation that your technique is correct, without having to wait 30 mins each time to see if you are wrong or right (while apologising profusely to the other players for ballsing it up)
To be crystal clear, this is not suggested to change any game play (it should be out of mission not in mission), and would probably be best done with the ingame map tools, and simply lets players drill this one aspect quickly and repeatedly.
