USS Tang attacked a convoy in June 1944 off Nagsaki, had 6-8 merchants and 16 escorts so yes it did occur.


Game wise. What mods are running? If night is dark(well dark by SH 4 standards ugh) close in close as dare and in range of torpedoes and let them fly or make submerged approached, see if can slip through the screen submerged under thermal layer, then when clear come to scope depth. not easy but possible.
