A few hours work after trashing the original model. Very very early stages. Sadly, no one seems to have a good vent hole profile for this class! I strongly suspect some of the pictures by artists of this class involve much guesswork.
After complaints about the conning tower details, etc on my models, I have decided to give most classes a going-over, with more realistic looking railings, maintenance doors, & grates on each CT. I am looking at the SH5 conning towers for inspiration with my own modeling (although I'm sort of learning as I go along, as an amateur!!)
