Yes, If mama's solution works for you, then the only thing on which you have to pay attention is to
meet your current campaign chapter ending date while you're on patrol and not to skip it due to patrol ending in bunker.
If, from some reason, campaign transfer screen still refuses to pop-up when camp.chapter ending date is reached or if the date is skipped due to bunker pause, then you may use my workaround to continue your campaign without loosing your progress.
The good thing is that at least one of two Mama's solution will work for most of the players so SH5 campaign progress with it is pretty much straightforward...
