Don't worry , I can assure you that those are realistic type VII U-boat speeds taken from Type VIIC manual
... I had a link somewhere but I can't find it right now...
Submarine surface range has nothing to do with telegraph, ahead slow , 1/3 ect. The range depends of engine RPM...
