Well, it
is a
Kilo-class submarine. If it finished a 4-year refit, it is one of the three Russia sold them forever-and-a-day ago. From what I remember, all three of their Kilos were in a sore need for a refit. The pock-marked conning tower is almost certainly hull stress from decades of service. I wouldn't want to try to take that particular boat to 300 meters.
