Almost sunk on return approach when we were suprised by 2 freighters and 4 escourts. DDed, fell to 170 meters, emergency surface, on the way up leak was repaired, uncontrolable surfacing, broke water surface, crash dove to 150 meters, repaired damage, and sulked away. All periscopes destroyed as well as radio and the flak guns.
One Large cargo sunk for 12,000 tons.
