But doesn't that mean that there were eight forward facing tubes and three rearward? Or were the two amidships capable of firing solutions to the front?

edit: I am confused, because wikipedia seems to say that group one boats had 10 forward facing tubes: eg

Surely those tubes amidships were rear tubes? So are the wikipedia entries incorrect?
