Yeah, you're right. I don't see why more companies don't self-publish. Look at Bethesda; they do, and deliver good quality every time.
Danlisa, I'm not so sure. A while back Crytek was moaning about piracy and how they would move to consoles. Getting stuck with a console port would be less than ideal.
