And so, the private was the only one left. Oberon had sensibly resigned from service, all others were dead, and standing alone in a hostile, soon-to-be German-free village, was an absolutely terrified young man. 2 werewolves were dead, but the last... was it a hellhound? There was no protection against them, as JCwolf and UnderseaLcpl proved, as well as Chad. It was now a matter of holding their ground, but the one among them could still kill everyone.

The hauptmann had shattered all his reasonings. Alone, he could trust no one, but the postman. All others were subject to an intense amount of paranoia. Slowly, from murder scene to murder scene, the private would slowly travel. As Oberon had no more reason to stay there, the fortified tower was commandeered, and all who entered it'd field of vision would receive a generous helping of blinding light.

The private himself was a mess as well. The nasty bruise from the hellhound, the dark ovals that dominated his face, the unwashed uniform, muddy and creased from constantly falling down... The reinforcements might as well assume he died from starvation, and not the werewolf. The watch tower had changed immensely. The hardest worker in the garrison had managed to transform it into a bunker on stilts. The guns, usually covered in rust and completely unworkable, had been polished and lubed to the point of shining. Or they were simply replaced, now that there weren't enough soldiers to possibly use an MG42.

And he would watch the town from that bunker. Spying, you could say. There weren't that many people left. It would rain every so often, and there would often be puddles of blood popping up every few steps, provoking many interesting reactions from whoever was left. NealT's remains were still rotting outside the bunks. A large area around the U-boot was covered in SandyCaesar. The watch tower itself still held the remains of Raptor1. But the private didn't care. He couldn't waste his energy caring.

There was a kidney by the watch tower. It didn't look like the others, so it must have been Task Force's. How did it get there?...

Oberon was following Jimbuna into the wreckage of the Fjordwolf. Should have stuck in groups of three. Or alone. Two is a bad number in these times....

There were smoke plumes coming from Trondheim. Another bombing raid? Hopefully, one will go off course and destroy this place.

I wonder if all nazis are werewolves? It sure would make sense...
