That's because we're better than the Soviets. The Allies have proven that they are willing to sell them out to the Soviets for questionable reasons. Much of eastern Europe and Scandinavia would prefer a National Socialist regime to a communist one.
Norway is no exception. Britain was planning to invade Norway as well before Operation Wesserbung, they simply lacked the means to do so before the Germans managed it.
