Here's something I'm doing to CC5, gonna replace all the weapon sounds with new ones that sound like they are fired in the distance (after all, the game view is 400-600m above the battlefield). Obviously, still tons of sounds to replace, flamethrower, riflegrenades, soldier speech, CQB sounds, some explosions and tanks machineguns.
Anywho, you should get a good idea how it'll sound from the clip. This was a battle between 2 american rifle squads vs. german MG42, Sturmpionere squad and a command squad.
