Good questions. The last two digits I am referring to are the
hundreths place, not the tens place. So the DJIA would close at something like 9034
.25 not 9034
And yes, if the market closes with identical numbers during this period of prize determination, if the person holding that number is an Ace, he will get his bonus prize. Each person can win once, except those with 5+ correct guesses, they can win twice.
EDIT: If the market closes with identical numbers during this period of prize determination, and the number is not held by an Ace or if the person has won his 1 prize, we can then move to the amount the DJIA changed, and if that hits a previous winner, we move to the percent change. If that hits a winner, we skip that day.
So, as an example, on 1/2:
........Close .........amount changed........ percent change
DJIA* 9034.
69 ----- 258.
30 ------------- 2.
