Latest Tab UI Update

Fix for 1.07e only...

After a lot of trial and error, mostly error, I finished the new tab location which should be more convenient to use. Here is what it looks like. This is the default.txt file in your .........

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cold Waters\ColdWaters_Data\StreamingAssets\default\hud -----folder

Save your original as a backup and to use this edit just copy this and paste overwriting the SAME section in your default text file location posted above. This is a section edit so dont paste over or replace anything else but what you see. I'll try to post fixed files in the download section before our hurricane hits ---enjoy

PS you can copy this and paste it to the UK and Russian text files also.
They are in this folder if you are using the "New Playable Subs Mod"

c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cold Waters\ColdWaters_Data\StreamingAssets\override\hu d\----folder
--------------------------------------------------------------

//Toolbar position 0,0, (1 to anchor to minimap or 0 for no anchor)
//Default toolbars overlap and enabled via tabs/keys
ToolbarsPos=0,0,0
ForceAllToolbarsOn=FALSE
HelmToolbarOffset=0,0
DiveToolbarOffset=0,0
SensorToolbarOffset=0,0

//Force all toolbars on in bottom horizontal row
ToolbarsPos=0,0,0
ForceAllToolbarsOn=TRUE
HelmToolbarOffset=331,-346
DiveToolbarOffset=669,-346
SensorToolbarOffset=331,-272

//Force all toolbars on in right vertical stack, anchored to mini-map
//ToolbarsPos=0,0,1
//ForceAllToolbarsOn=TRUE
//HelmToolbarOffset=0,0
//DiveToolbarOffset=0,71
//SensorToolbarOffset=0,142

------------------------------------------------------------------
One side issue. I have been having some problems with the tabs returning to the same location in the UI when playing a in the UK subs MOD. So if this happens please note I am trying to figure out the cause. I think is caused the way the game saves missions. I'll be working on it and post a fix if I find it :doh:

For what resolution?

It should work for any resolution including 1920x1080. I use it for 1600x1050 cause I don't have the 1920x1080 screen where they fit across side by side
:yeah:

Your welcome

It's frustrating though because this edit doesn't work with the UK and Russian boats, when you try to recall a saved game. I've not given up but the game save files are multiplying the X locations and moving the tab locations to the right when you reload a saved game. The US boats seem to work OK with saves.

It has something to do with the UK and RUSSIAN text files. Maybe CaptainX can help. I can't figure out what's causing his mod to modify the locations. Not his fault, but as of now I'm stumped. :doh:

Known issue. Popping back to the main menu should resolve it for now.
