3 Downloads a day limit ? wtf, and yes I did sponsor
 

Hm, last week I finally bought SH5 to give it a try, and naturally came back to the mods on the site.

Unfortunately I got an automated forum message that as a newbie I could only download 3 files a day. While this may sound funny, it a bit of a pain in the backside if one cannot download mods from any other site beside this one.

Besides I also did a little sponsorship towards the forum a few months back, so didnt expect to get this kind of treatment/

Any help on this or what can one do ?

Hi Dertien, you should be able to download 10 per day so I don't know what the problem is unless the limit has changed to 3 (hope not)!:hmmm:

Subsim currently has over 70,000 (yes, seventy thousand) registered members. Most of them joined just to get free stuff, and couldn't care less about the site itself. Hosting it costs money. Subsim doesn't make you pay for the downloads. All we ask is that you participate a little before you hit-and-run. I'm sorry you think it's stupid. Would you rather pay for them?

Download to more files per day you have to be active in the forum, upload new mods or write answers to the forum! Good hunting!:salute:
