Very cool. They even included the keys to start it with. ;)

I have a Revell model of the Type XXI, but just the exterior. That's work enough. :D

I was using the keys to cut the plastic.

I have this model, it is currently in my shed 'Man Cave' in the garden, we had to empty our house for a noo kitchen and rewiring soooo it is sort of half built.

My plan is to use resin casting to make the model complete (by that I mean I lost the aft torpedo tube hatch)

It's a nice model though.

Cheers

Garion

Those don't look like real U-boat keys.

Let's see, there is one for the helm, one for the hatches, one for the mag storage, one for the heads, I guess the others are for the barracks lockers back at base and whatnot. Makes sense.

Nice looking model though, lots of work with paint and details.

Good luck with it.
