Save us from Pac-Man!!

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the dreaded "pac_man" and hdg tails in SH5?

Those two zones (Detection Zone And ASDIC Zone) are driving me absolutely MAD! It's impossible to do any plotting when zoomed in even a small amount because you just can't see any of the tools/reading/marks within the shaded zone. The direction tails, too, need to go because they just make things too easy otherwise

I guess they're there for people who want to run SH5 in Video Game Mode but for someone who marks, times, plots, etc they are absolutely infuriating and I'd dearly love to be pointed in the right direction by someone who can tell me what I need to do to remove them entirely.

Yes, I know there are plenty things in SH5 need serious tweaking and this particular tweak might not be terribly high on many people's list, but for me it's a complete nonsense

I would want the removal of the direction tails IF, I was able to put time stamps on map notes, which since sh3, I have not been able to do. I also would like the option to remove the passive and active circles AS AN OPTION. I am currently using them as a training tool, so I can get an idea of the sight picture for certain situations.

You could always turn off the "update map icons" or something like that in the realism settings.

Ok I offer this as a "tweak" and not as a complete mod!
These files removes the visual and acustic range circles. :ping:
